Standing in front of a stranger basically naked!? Then add on sensual poses and facial expressions!? Initially, the thought terrified me. Well, let’s be honest, it scared me until I actually walked out of the bathroom in a crop top and a thong.
Nobody asked me to do this. I looked into it and decided to do it; on my own and for MYSELF. Yes, I shared the gorgeous images with my partner and girlfriend, but this experience was for ME!
I’ve been working on loving all of myself. My whole body, my whole person the way it is; every single part.
Doing this shoot was a way for me to challenge myself and celebrate my progress of self-love. WOW! Did it work?
I felt incredible. I felt sexy. I felt confident.
It was an experience that continues to give me strength as I go to the beach in a two-piece or shop for crop tops.
Doing this shoot wasn’t just special for the moments in that safe space or the perfect images, but also for future body confidence as I navigate the world of stereotypes that society portrays someone should look like.
I know I’m beautiful just the way I am.
