Not all ladies are made of sugar, spice and everything nice.

For me, sarcasm, margaritas, carbs and grey hair is more accurate. But you know what? I wouldn’t trade a single thing because it makes me…well….me.

A little bit about me, I am a single mom to a preteen. A hard-headed, soccer playing, dog-loving, beautiful girl (now you know where the margaritas and grey hair comes into play!). I work at a fast pace hospital (so I’m always on my feet). A lot. So in retrospect, I tend to choose comfort over style. Not that I have style, mine is more ”homeless” as my daughter calls it.

Never in a million years did I think I would have what it took to do a boudoir photo shoot. I always had this thought in my mind that you had to look like a Victoria Secret Model or like the Kardashians. I was more like Mimi on Drew Carey!

The day of my shoot I could not have been more nervous. Too add to it, Mother Nature decided to visit in two ways that day! It was even pouring down rain.

I was so thankful that my hair and make were going to be done for me (HINT ladies, get both done!!! You won’t regret the decision!).

After getting made over, Kristen made me feel like a million bucks! She was so patient and knew her way around the camera! I was in poses that I just knew were going to be sexy!

This whole time I thought posing half naked was going to be the hard part! Oh no! Let me tell you ladies….waiting to see these photos was the hard part!! Picking my favorites wasn’t any easier! They were all great! Don’t believe me….take a look at her work!
