“This is not for me, no way am I going to be comfortable taking my clothes off for pictures.” That was one of the first thoughts Miss R had about doing a session.
Working with and getting to know Miss R was a blast. She’s a super modest person, but really wanted to step outside her comfort zone. And when I say modest, I mean it. She admitted to being the type of person who wears a t-shirt over her bathing suit. So, a boudoir experience was more like taking a leap.
Come session day Miss R was still a little nervous. She brought in some great outfit choices even though I had to give her a little push on getting in the bra and panty set.
***A little side note: If you bring it, then there’s chance you’ll wear it. Especially, if it’s something that’s going to push out of your comfort zone a little.
Once she got into her first outfit and a couple of minutes went by Miss R was able to jump right into it. She said, “I was surprised at how I was able to jump right in and not even think twice.”
And that’s just it. The nerves never last long and before you know it you forget that you’re not wearing much.
Miss R said that she got much more than beautiful images. She said, “I was able to step out of my comfort zone for sure. I can look at the pictures and it reminds me that just because I’m a mom doesn’t mean I can’t do something for myself, look gorgeous, and feel sexy doing it.”
Can I get a heck yes! I’ve always said that anyone who says mom aren’t sexy obviously have never meet the women I get to photograph every day!
